Fraternal Order of Police, Sarpy County Lodge #3

Wage Scales

Every classification in all three Lodge 3 contracts, at every step, for every fiscal year the County has published. Switch between hourly, weekly, bi-weekly and annual, see what each position gained year over year, and work out what your own pay looks like once your assignment pay, differential and longevity are counted.

Find My Pay

Pick your classification and step. Base wage is only part of it, so add your assignment pay, shift differential and longevity underneath and the page will work out the rest.

Full Wage Schedule

† Three Non-Sworn figures are being confirmed with County HR. In the County’s published schedule those cells do not follow the step progression of the rest of their own row, so the year over year percentage is held back rather than printed as a pay cut. The figures are shown exactly as the County published them, and Resolution 2025-176 lets the Human Resources Director correct clerical errors.

Compare Two Positions

Any two classifications, across any of the three contracts, at the most recent year each schedule publishes. Useful before testing for a promotion or moving between units.

Both sides follow the pay basis you picked above.

Notes and Sources

  • Figures are the County’s published salary schedules, not the scanned tables inside the signed contracts. Sarpy County posts them at sarpy.gov/298 and the agreements at sarpy.gov/221. If anything here disagrees with the signed agreement, the signed agreement governs.
  • Weekly is 40 hours and annual is 2,080 hours. Bi-weekly is the 80 hour pay period the County publishes. Deputies on twelve hour shifts do not work exactly 2,080 straight time hours in a year, so treat the annual column as the scale, not as a paycheck.
  • The add-on totals are an estimate of base wages plus contract add-ons. They are not take home pay, they leave out overtime, court time, callout and holiday pay, and they do not account for taxes, retirement, insurance or dues.
  • Shift differential assumes every hour qualifies. In practice it is paid only on hours actually worked on a qualifying shift, so the real figure is usually lower.
  • Longevity closed to employees hired on or after July 1, 2016 for Sworn and July 1, 2015 for the other two units. Option 1 keeps the full longevity amount and gives up the deferred comp match, Option 2 reduces it and keeps the match. The page will not let you count both.
  • Step placement, promotion increases and entry steps for lateral hires are set by the contract and by the Sheriff or the department head, so where you actually land may not match where the grid suggests.

Questions about your own pay go to the Lodge at info@sarpyfop.com, and anything that looks wrong in the County’s schedule is worth telling us about so we can take it to HR.
